How to Engage on GuardsZone

 Information on how to connect with the GuardsZone community and maintain a positive environment on the platform.

To message a business owner, please fill out the “Request a Quote” form that is available on their business page.

If business pages do not have that feature, the business user has not made it available and you will not be able to message them on the platform. If this is the case, please contact the business directly via phone (or their website/social media if provided).

Please note that consumer users cannot message other consumer users on GuardsZone.

GuardsZone users should use their account to find local security guard companies, post reviews, and positively engage with the GuardsZone community through direct messages, review votes, and other features we have included on the platform. 

Users are NOT allowed to maintain multiple accounts, harass other users, post aggressive or provocative content, or use their personal accounts for promotional purposes.

You can report an account if you think that a user is violating GuardsZone’s Terms of Service (hyperlink to TOS)

To report a profile:

  1. Locate the profile of the user that you would like to report
  2. Click on the red “Report User” button located on the right side of the screen
  3. Fill out the form that appears
  4. Click submit

You can also report individual content items that you think might violate GuardsZone’s Content Guidelines (hyperlink to guidelines) instead of reporting the entire user account. Although, if you recognize that a user’s engagement on GuardsZone is negative beyond a single content item, please report the account.

GuardsZone allows business owners that have claimed their business page to respond to reviews through a comment. 

While this feature is included on our platform to cultivate positive engagement with the community as well as provide an opportunity for business owners to constructively respond to negative feedback, we understand that this may not always be the case.

If you feel that a business owner has posted a comment in violation of GuardsZone’s Community Guidelines (hyperlink to Community Guidelines page), you can report it by clicking on the orange report button (flag icon), located below the comment. Our team will evaluate and take appropriate action if we confirm that the comment is against the community guidelines.
