Information regarding GuardsZone’s privacy practices.

Your personal account information, such as email, phone number, and address are all protected and will not be visible to any GuardsZone users. 

However, your account profile is public and will be visible to GuardsZone users and non-users who visit GuardsZone. The account profile includes your name, display name, and reviews posted.

The user profiles and user-generated content posted on GuardsZone are meant to be displayed to the public, but your personal information (contact info, location, etc.) is private.
A GuardsZone user profile will show others your display name, first and last name, reviews written, media uploaded, your saved businesses, a description (if you choose to include one), and the date and month and year you created a GuardsZone account.

While there is no official requirement that users must use their real name on GuardsZone, we highly encourage you to do so. You can always change your display name to whatever you would like it to be, but please refrain from using inappropriate words so your account does not get removed.

To view and/or change any privacy or email settings, please go to the My Account page of your user dashboard and click on the “Edit Account Settings” button.

No, your email address is not visible on your public GuardsZone profile. For more information on our privacy practices, please refer to GuardsZone’s Privacy Policy.

If you believe your account has been compromised and are able to log in, please reset your password. 

If you are unable to log in, try to get a password reset link sent to the email we have on file by clicking the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the Login page.

If you still cannot access your account, please contact our Support team.

An email address is required to sign up with a GuardsZone account and you’ll get a confirmation email to verify that the account was intentionally created. You can confirm by clicking the ‘Confirm Email’ button within the email. 

Please note that your GuardsZone account setup will not be complete if the email is not confirmed and you won’t be able to post reviews or upload content to your account.

If you did not sign up for a GuardsZone account and received an email to confirm your account, there may have been an error when a new user signed up. In this instance, please contact our Support team and we’ll be able to close out your account.
